Introduction

StoryKeeper helps you navigate complex books without spoilers. To do that well, we need to store information about what you're reading and where you are in each book. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We believe privacy is foundational to trust. We don't sell your data, we don't show you ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites. The only information we collect is what's necessary to make StoryKeeper work for you.

What Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

Account Information:

• Your email address when you create an account or sign in. If you choose Google sign-in, Google may also provide your name and account identifier; Apple sign-in provides your email address (which may be a private relay address) and account identifier.
• We use Supabase for authentication. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password.

Your Reading Library:

• Book titles, authors, and cover images you add to your library
• The chapter or page you've most recently completed in each book
• Any personal notes or highlights you create
• Optional context you provide when requesting AI-generated guides (chapter titles, quotes, ISBN numbers, Kindle locations)

AI-Generated Content:

• When you request a spoiler-safe chapter guide, we send your book details and current chapter to our AI service to generate personalized summaries
